Wood Blinds and Faux Wood Blinds Slat Problems
Common problems with wood blinds and faux wood blinds have to do with the blind slats. We will go over how to fix blind slats that won't lower and blind slats that won't tilt.
Blind Slats Not Lowering
Hold the lift cords level with the headrail and pull to release the cord lock. If this does not work, take the blind down from the window and locate the cord lock in the headrail. Locate the pin and turn it using a flathead screwdriver. From here, push the pin to lower the slats.
Blind Slats Not Tilting
Remove the blind and locate a rod that runs the length of the headrail. Locate the tilt mechanism and push the end of the tilt rod into the where the tilt mechanism is located.
