What is Somfy myLink?

This guide will cover how to set up Somfy myLink and RTS programming. Somfy myLink enables your to control your motorized shades and blinds by using a phone or tablet. myLink is fully compatible with Alexa, IFTT, and Google Assistant. myLink allows you to control your motorized window coverings wherever and whenever. Using the app, you can create custom scenes for each room that will manage how much sunlight or privacy you will get. Somfy myLink is able to set a schedule for each motorized blind or shade as well for ultimate customization.

Setting Up Somfy myLink

1. Download the app from either the iTunes app store or Google play then plug in the myLink into an outlet.
2. Launch the app and press "Start New System" and proceed to follow the steps on the screen.
3. Connect your device to the myLink network and press "Search for myLink" on the app. (Be sure to allow the app to use your location if you want to set time or sunrise/sunset schedules)
4. Select your network and press "Next". This will connect your myLink to your network. If done correctly, your myLink's LED light will be green.
5. Press "Continue" and follow the remaining steps. You will have to name your myLink and select an icon.

Setting Up Somfy RTS Programming

1. Make sure the RTS products are operational and can be controlled from an RTS control.
2. Select the channel(s) that operate the product you want to program.. Press the programming button on the back of the remote until the blind or shade jogs.
3. Open the app and press the program button. The shade should jog again.
4. If you want to add more RTS channels, press "Done". You can create up to 16 channels. 
5. To change your RTS programming, press "Edit" and select "RTS programming"
