Fixing Bent Metal Mini Blinds

Metal blinds can be bent somewhat easily by pets or children but also accidently while cleaning or operating them. However, don't worry! We have very simple steps to help you restraighten your bent blind slats. Be sure to be careful when handling your blind as the edges of the blind are very sharp.

1. Remove the blinds from the window. It will be easier to fix the blinds once removed.
2. Place the blind and the damaged slat on the floor, table, or another flat surface. 
3. Use your hands to straighten the crease on the slat. It may take heavy pressure to being to smooth out the damaged slat. Most metal mini blind are made of aluminum which is very malleable. You should be able to work with the metal and bend it back into the correct place.
